Job summary

Biogen UK seeks a Senior Plant Maintenance Engineer to deputise for the Site Manager, leading the PPM system and coordinating planned downtime for critical equipment to ensure safe, compliant and cost-effective plant operations.

Role involves prioritising reactive maintenance, budget control, driving licence and telehandler certification, weekend work on rota, and remote monitoring of the AD process.

Qualifications

• Qualified in electrical or mechanical engineering with related process industry experience.
• Experience in PLC controls or electronics is advantageous.
• WAMITAB competency training and NEBOSH certificate if not held.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) system and manage downtime.
• Prioritise reactive maintenance and repairs to minimise disruption.
• Deputise for the Site Manager and ensure safe, compliant site operations.
• Oversee remote monitoring of the AD process.
