Job summary

Laminar Projects is seeking a senior Planning Manager to lead planning for a UK Defence infrastructure programme. You will manage 5-10 planners, drive governance, and deliver integrated planning with Primavera P6 expertise.

The role requires strong English communication, leadership, and a track record in complex infrastructure projects. Based in Southern England with 2-3 days on site per fortnight, you’ll mentor junior team members and develop scalable planning practices that add value for

Qualifications

• Mastery: Construction engineering background with substantial experience.
• Excellent communicator in written and verbal English.
• Proven leadership with ability to mentor and guide teams.
• Strong focus on delivering project planning excellence and governance.

Responsibilities

• Own the plan: define roles and responsibilities to meet project needs.
• Own the outcome: deliver project outcomes and keep team aligned.
• Report and inform: create clear, actionable stakeholder reports.
• Make scalable solutions: develop repeatable planning practices.
• Develop everyone: mentor 2-5 consultants to grow professionally.
