Mace combines construction expertise with consultancy to unlock potential in every person or project and redefine the boundaries of ambition. Our values shape the way we consult and define the people we want to join us on our journey.

The project:

In the energy sector, the UK will need to invest up to £900 billion of capital expenditure to enable a net zero economy by 2050. For our clients in the sector, this means delivering complex projects and programmes delivering low-carbon technologies and infrastructure and doing so safely, efficiently, and at pace.

You’ll Be Responsible For
  • Ensuring consistent application of coding structures, planning standards, and risk-adjusted logic across all schedule inputs.
  • Governing schedule updates, baseline control, and reporting cycles, driving high levels of contributor compliance and data quality.
  • Managing scenario modelling and impact assessments to support decision-making for major changes and emerging risks.
  • Providing clear visibility from short-term lookaheads through to key programme milestones, enabling proactive management of delivery risks and opportunities.
  • Developing reporting outputs that support effective planning across short, medium, and long-term horizons.
  • A robust, integrated planning baseline that supports confident decision-making.
  • Improved alignment across stakeholders and contributors.
  • Enhanced ability to identify, mitigate, and manage delivery risks.
You’ll Need To Have
  • Membership of APM, RICS, CIOB, ICE, AACE, IRM, IEMA or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.
  • Deep property or infrastructure project management expertise.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen.
  • Leadership and management experience of large, diverse teams.
  • Experience of managing relationships with key senior stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
