The project:

Our client is the utilities provider in the South‑East geographic area. Their purpose is to deliver services in an environmentally sustainable, economically beneficial, and socially responsible manner and create sustainable long‑term value for all.

The role supports effective planning across allocated projects and portfolios, ensuring programmes are well‑scheduled, monitored and delivered to time and profitability goals. It is responsible for planning medium‑complexity projects, multiple smaller schemes or defined sections of larger programmes, contributing to strong project management and successful delivery.

You’ll Be Responsible For
  • Contributing to plans taking full cognisance of logistics/site project constraints.
  • Interfacing constructively with Project Team.
  • Contributing to the production of the weekly progress report to the project team.
  • Understanding functional obligations under form of contract.
  • Reviewing and capturing productivity to measure progress.
  • Communicating effectively with the client and stakeholders.
  • Supporting sustainable design and procurement process within integrated programmes.
  • Supporting health and safety through programme integration.
  • Establishing and overseeing project work plan and deadlines.
  • Undertaking tasks required to fulfil the requirements of the project/assignment.
  • Working collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.
You’ll Need To Have
  • Working towards chartered registered member of a relevant institution Accreditation from recognised industry body (e.g. APM, RICS, CIOB, ICE, AACE, IRM, IEMA) (or equivalent).
  • Relevant CSCS Card.
  • General knowledge of schedule management tools and software.
