Job summary

WPP is seeking a Planning Senior Executive for its OpenDoor team in London. You will support media planning and campaign management for Amazon, operating within the XCM EU Regional Hub.

This full-time hybrid role emphasizes data-driven insights, client communication, and cross-functional collaboration across WPP agencies. Qualifications

• Must be able to work independently and package work for client delivery.
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
• Familiarity with media research tools and data sources.
• Curiosity about media and marketing industry trends and challenges.
• Ability to develop and communicate media activation strategies.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development of comprehensive media plans across channels and budgets.
• Research target audiences, market trends and competitive landscape to inform strategies.
• Develop DE+I planning and carbon-conscious media approaches.
• Use media systems (including WPP Open AI) to generate insights and optimize campaigns.
• Monitor campaign performance and suggest optimization opportunities.
• Support with client-facing presentations and status reports.
