Job summary

Employment Solutions Ltd is recruiting a Lead Planning Engineer to join a leading consultancy supporting major programmes within the nuclear sector. You will develop and maintain complex project schedules, providing accurate planning and performance information to support successful delivery.

The role requires strong Primavera P6 expertise in a nuclear or defence environment, with a focus on detailed schedule analysis and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience leading planning in complex projects, preferably within nuclear/defence sectors.
• Strong capability in developing and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring alignment with scope, cost, risk and project objectives.
• Analyse critical paths, float, constraints and schedule performance, identifying potential delays and recommending recovery actions.
• Monitor project progress, maintain Integrated Master Schedules and provide reporting against milestones and KPIs.
• Support Project Managers with planning, forecasting, change control and Earned Value Management across complex work packages.
• Provide planning leadership across projects and mentor junior planners within the wider Project Controls team.
