Job summary

TWG Consulting Services in Oxfordshire is seeking a Senior Planning Engineer to lead and manage complex infrastructure programmes. This hybrid role includes accommodation and supports the full project lifecycle from planning through to delivery, coordinating with project leadership, engineering and commercial teams.

You will own schedules using Primavera P6, ensure NEC contract alignment, and communicate progress to senior stakeholders. Site-based experience is advantageous for this role.

Qualifications

• Background in civil engineering and planning for large infrastructure projects.
• Experience with main contractors on infrastructure schemes.
• Strong knowledge of NEC contract requirements and compliance.
• Proven ability to translate complex schedules into clear insights.

Responsibilities

• Create, monitor and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Support tender and live projects with build-ability, phasing, and logic.
• Provide progress reporting, critical path analysis, and scenario planning.
• Collaborate with engineering, commercial, and site teams across lifecycle.
• Ensure NEC contract obligations for programme submissions are met.
• Identify risks and mitigation strategies within the schedule.
