Job summary

Gold Group is looking for a Senior Planner or Planner (M&E) in Bristol with hybrid working (2 days remote). The role involves developing and managing construction programmes across tender and live projects for a busy contractor delivering hospitals, prisons, offices and education schemes in the South West.

The successful candidate will work with bid teams, project and delivery groups to ensure programme alignment, identify risks and drive successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven M&E planning experience on building projects.
• Strong UK construction industry background.
• Excellent communication with project teams and stakeholders.

Title: Senior Planner or Planner (M&E)
Location: Bristol (Hybrid - 2 days remote)
Salary: £60-95,000 + car allowance + package

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Planner, or an ambitious Planner ready to step up, to join a busy and growing contractor with a strong pipeline of projects across the South West. This is a fantastic chance to become part of a high-performing team delivering a diverse portfolio of projects across multiple build sectors, including hospitals, prisons, commercial offices, schools and other major developments.

Working across both tender and contract stages, you will play a key role in developing and managing construction programmes, supporting project teams from early bid strategy through to successful delivery on site. With exposure to a wide range of technically challenging schemes, this role offers excellent variety, career development and the opportunity to make a real impact across a substantial regional workload.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage construction programmes across tender and live project stages

Requirements

• Strong UK construction industry experience
• Proven M&E planning experience across building projects
• Proficiency in Asta Powerproject or Primavera P6
• Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing and project delivery
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ambition to develop and progress within a growing business
