An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Planning Engineer to join a leading main contractor based in Bristol and take ownership of the construction programme on a high-profile scheme, working closely with operational, commercial, and project management teams to drive programme certainty and performance.
The Senior Planning Engineer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and managing detailed construction programmes using Primavera P6, ensuring progress is accurately recorded and reported while identifying risks, opportunities, and potential impacts. Your strong site-based experience will be vital in creating realistic, deliverable programmes that reflect the live conditions and challenges of a major infrastructure environment.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Senior Planning Engineer with a proven track record in complex civil engineering or infrastructure projects. You’ll bring excellent working knowledge of NEC contracts and be a confident, capable user of Primavera P6. Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills are essential, along with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
