Job summary
Avove is seeking a Senior Planner to join the Severn Trent Water framework, delivering major water and wastewater infrastructure projects. The role involves shaping programme strategies, driving performance, and supporting essential services to local communities.
The position offers hybrid working in Derby or Birmingham, combining office and site attendance with home-based work. You will develop programmes using Primavera P6, manage risk, and mentor junior planners while collaborating with
Qualifications
- Strong planning experience in infrastructure, utilities or civil engineering.
- NEC experience would be advantageous.
- Proficient in using Microsoft packages.
- Excellent P6 skills and solid understanding of project controls.
- Experience working within construction.
- Ability to support and influence multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project programmes using Primavera P6.
- Work closely with project teams to ensure robust planning across all stages.
- Provide guidance, challenge and insight to support successful project delivery.
- Track progress, identify risks and support mitigation planning.
- Support and mentor junior members of the planning team.
