Job summary

The Senior Planner – Water Infrastructure role within the South West Water framework requires an experienced planning professional to support a major long-term water infrastructure programme across the South West. The role offers hybrid working with occasional travel across the South West and offices staged away from Exeter.

You will develop robust programmes, apply Primavera P6 and Asta Powerproject, and work with operational, commercial and design teams to ensure deliverable plans that align

Qualifications

• Significant experience with major infrastructure planning projects.
• Knowledge of NEC contracts and contract-compliant programmes.
• Experience developing and managing detailed construction programmes.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and programming across water and infrastructure projects.
• Develop and maintain detailed project programmes.
• Produce resource-loaded and cost-loaded programmes.
• Develop construction methodologies, sequencing strategies and phasing plans.
• Support prequalification, tender and pre-construction activities.
• Monitor project progress against agreed programmes.
• Undertake critical path analysis and identify risks.
• Implement Short Interval Control and 5-Week Look Ahead planning.
• Produce programme reporting for project and senior management teams.
• Work with commercial teams to ensure programmes meet contractual requirements.
• Collaborate with clients, subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.
