GRS (Gearing Recruitment Solutions) is seeking a Senior Planner for a major water and wastewater framework in the UK. You will develop and manage detailed project programmes across the full lifecycle from design to commissioning, ensuring schedules reflect scope and resources.

The role requires strong Primavera P6 experience, excellent communication and stakeholder management, and the ability to challenge subcontractor programmes to align with the master schedule.

Competenze

• Experience as a Planner, Project Planner, Planning Engineer, or Senior Planner within construction, engineering, infrastructure or water sectors.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and the full project lifecycle.

• Develop, maintain, and update detailed project programmes across the full project lifecycle.
• Ensure schedules reflect project scope, resource requirements, and sequencing logic.
• Work closely with project teams to identify risks, opportunities, and programme impacts.

Senior Planner – Water Industry

A leading Tier 1 contractor delivering major water and wastewater projects is looking for a Senior Planner to join their United Utilities framework.

Working across the full project lifecycle, from design through to construction and commissioning, you will develop and manage project programmes, supporting the successful delivery of major water and wastewater engineering projects.

Duties for Senior Planner

• Develop, maintain, and update detailed project programmes across the full project lifecycle
• Ensure schedules reflect project scope, resource requirements, and sequencing logic
• Work closely with project teams to identify risks, opportunities, and programme impacts
• Review and challenge subcontractor and supply chain programmes to ensure alignment with the integrated master schedule

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience as a Planner, Project Planner, Planning Engineer, or Senior Planner within the construction, engineering, infrastructure, or water sectors
• Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and the full project lifecycle
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
