Job summary

VolkerFitzpatrick is seeking a Senior Planner for the Building Division in Hoddesdon with hybrid working. You will drive pre-construction and construction delivery planning for projects from £1M to £100M.

In this role you will ensure robust programmes, monitor progress and manage risks while aligning with client expectations. Proficiency with Asta Powerproject and tender experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction planning within main contracting.
• Experience on tenders and live projects valued £1M–£100M.
• Proficient in Asta Powerproject; experience with P6 preferred.
• Understanding of JCT and NEC contract conditions.
• Construction-related qualification required.
• Confident communicator and strategic thinker capable of stakeholder influence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and produce integrated bid-winning programmes with design, procurement and construction elements.
• Visit sites regularly to provide planning support and resolve challenges.
• Monitor progress, identify risks early and implement proactive mitigations.
• Provide planning advice across multiple projects to influence outcomes.
