AndersElite is seeking a Senior Planner in Hoddesdon for the Building Division. You will lead the planning for projects from £1M to £100M across Commercial, Education, Health & Life Sciences, and Defence sectors, with regular site visits and hybrid working.

The role focuses on robust programmes, ongoing monitoring and alignment with tender requirements, design and delivery methodologies, and stakeholder engagement to drive project success.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction planning within main contracting.
• Experience on tenders and live projects valued between £1M and £100M.
• Proficiency with Asta Powerproject; ideally P6 experience.

Responsabilités

• Develop and produce logic‑linked tender programmes covering design, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning and handover.
• Visit sites regularly to provide planning support and resolve challenges.
• Monitor progress, identify risks early, and implement proactive solutions.
• Provide expert planning advice across multiple projects and influence outcomes.

We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Planner in the Southern Region of our clients Building Division.

Location - Hoddesdon, with regular site visits and hybrid working available.

A full UK driving licence is essential.

As a Senior Planner in the Building Division, you'll play a pivotal role in both the Pre-Construction and Construction Delivery teams, driving the success of projects ranging from £1M to £100M in Commercial, Education, Health & Life Sciences and Defence sectors

Your strategic insight and technical know-how will ensure that every programme is robust, regularly monitored and updated to suit the needs of each project.

What You'll Be Doing

• Develop and produce fully logic linked and integrated 'bid winning' tender programmes comprising the design, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning and handover strategies that are compliant with tender requirements, design and chosen methodology without assistance.
• Visiting sites regularly to provide hands‑on planning support and resolve challenges.
• Monitoring progress and identifying risks early, ensuring proactive solutions are in place.
• Providing expert planning advice across multiple projects, influencing outcomes and driving excellence.

About you

• Bring proven experience in construction planning within the main contracting sector (experience on Stadia development also beneficial)
• Have a strong track record of working on tenders and live projects valued between £1M and £100M.
• Are highly proficient in Asta Powerproject and ideally with experience with P6.
• Possess an understanding of JCT and NEC contract conditions and their impact on planning.
• Have a construction related qualification.
• Are a confident communicator and strategic thinker, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
