Job summary

SP Energy Networks, part of the Iberdrola Group, seeks a Planning Engineer to lead development and maintenance of Primavera P6 schedules for major transmission projects. You will work with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely updates, KPIs, and coordination across design, procurement, construction and commissioning.

Role offers a permanent, hybrid site-based working pattern with 3 days on site and responsibilities across a multi‑billion portfolio, contributing to UK grid

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
• Experience using Primavera P6 to develop and maintain schedules.
• Strong reporting and spreadsheet modelling skills; clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Create, develop and manage Primavera P6 schedules for SPEN Transmission Major Projects.
• Interface with internal and external stakeholders to ensure regular schedule updates and KPI reporting.
• Identify interdependencies and resolve scheduling issues across the project lifecycle.
• Integrate Contractor Clause 31/32 schedules and deliver portfolio monthly performance reports.
