Job summary

ASSYSTEM is seeking a Senior Planner to support planning and delivery of complex energy, grid and power projects in the UK. You will develop and maintain robust programmes, monitor progress, identify risks and provide clear reporting to project teams and senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a Planner or Senior Planner in energy, grid, utilities, infrastructure or construction.
• Excellent knowledge of planning methodologies, programme controls and critical path analysis.
• Experience using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
• Ability to manage interfaces between contractors, suppliers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage and maintain detailed project programmes from concept to handover.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, procurement and project management teams for alignment.
• Create integrated schedules covering grid connections, power supply and infrastructure activities.
• Monitor progress, identify delays and risks, and report to senior management.
• Maintain programme governance including baselines, change control and milestones.
• Support risk and opportunity management and provide commentary on performance.
