Zusammenfassung

Murphy (J Murphy & Sons) is recruiting a Planner to work with Energy on the Norfolk Offshore Wind Zone. The Senior Planner will assimilate information, produce resourced programmes and manage risk, with interface to estimators and the design team.

You will apply planning software (P6, Asta, TILOS, QSRA) on major civil projects and support tendering and delivery across national grid HV work. A collaborative, detail‑driven approach is essential.

Qualifikationen

• Experience on Major Civil Engineering and/or Construction projects.
• Experience working on HV Power, Transmission & Distribution projects, especially National Grid.
• Proficient in planning software such as P6, Asta, TILOS and QSRA.
• Strong grasp of planning techniques used in tendering and contract delivery.
• Clear understanding of commercial/contract interfaces with planning function.

Aufgaben

• Assimilate information and summarise work scope for communication to teams.
• Prepare a resourced programme and review conformance with expectations.
• Contribute to risk register and perform programme risk analysis.
• Prepare visual materials supporting planned methods.
• Maintain orderly project documentation.
• Define methods and outputs in consultation with estimator and supply chain.
• Liaise with design engineer to establish design brief for temporary works.
• Provide estimator with justified schedule of temporary works and indirect costs.
• Attend bid review meetings to present work scope and delivery approach.
• Attend handover meetings to define tasks and scope clarity.
• Advise project team of required feedback reports and support with data.
