Senior Infrastructure Planner — Drive National Projects

Job summary

WSP invites an experienced Senior Consultant to join our Infrastructure Planning team. You will lead town planning and consenting inputs on major and nationally significant infrastructure projects across the UK.

You will work in multi-disciplinary teams to secure consent under the Planning Act 1990, Planning Act 2008 and related legislation, engaging with stakeholders and statutory bodies. RTPI membership encouraged.

Qualifications

• Degree in town planning (or equivalent).
• RTPI membership or eligibility is preferred.
• Experience securing consents for major infrastructure projects across the UK.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Town & Country Planning Act applications for infrastructure projects across the UK.
• Provide consenting inputs on major infrastructure projects (DCOs, DNSs, TWAOs, etc.).
• Advise project managers to meet client requirements with technical input.
• Liaise with statutory bodies and stakeholders to deliver projects.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to share knowledge and build the team’s competency.
