Job summary

LOCKROSE Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Planner to shape delivery of major transmission and distribution projects across the UK. The role focuses on developing and controlling programme schedules, with emphasis on substations, HV cables and overhead lines.

You will work across development to handover, collaborating with managers, engineers and contractors to keep programmes on track and forecast outcomes, while embracing a hybrid London-based approach.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years' experience in the UK energy sector with clear project dates.
• Proven ability to develop and manage programmes for transmission/distribution projects.
• Experience with high-voltage cable, overhead line and/or substation projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and manage detailed project schedules across the full project lifecycle.
• Analyse programme performance and identify critical path activities and risks.
• Produce programme reports, dashboards and schedule analyses to support decisions.
• Support project controls activities including forecasting and earned value analysis.
• Collaborate with project teams, contractors and clients to validate assumptions.
