Job summary

VolkerFitzpatrick, part of VolkerWessels UK, is seeking a Senior Planner to join the Building Division based at our Birmingham office with regular site visits and hybrid working. A full UK driving licence is essential.

In this role you will drive planning for Pre-Construction and Construction Delivery across projects from £1M to £100M in Industrial/Warehouse and Data Centre sectors, ensuring robust programmes that are monitored and updated to meet project needs.

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction planning for main contracting.
Experience on tenders and live projects (£1M–£100M).
Proficient in Asta Powerproject; knowledge of P6 is a plus.
Understanding of JCT and NEC contracts.

Responsibilities

Develop and produce fully logic linked and integrated tender programmes for design, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning and handover.
Visit sites regularly to provide planning support and resolve challenges.
Monitor progress and identify risks early with proactive solutions.
Provide planning advice across multiple projects and influence outcomes.
