Job summary

Cavendish Nuclear in Glasgow is seeking a Senior Planner to deliver complex, high‑value infrastructure projects that support the UK’s defence and energy capabilities. Based at our Glasgow site, you will develop and manage integrated schedules, ensuring robust planning standards across delivery stages.

Working within a joint venture, you will mentor junior planners and apply Primavera P6 to build WBS/OBS, update forecasts, and monitor schedule performance.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in Primavera P6 planning software.
• Experience in construction or engineering projects in highly regulated environments.
• Proven experience in a project controls or planning team.
• Strong understanding of planning methodologies and schedule management.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Creating and managing work breakdown structures and organisational breakdown structures.
• Updating schedules to reflect forecast dates and estimates at completion.
• Performing earned value analysis to monitor project performance.
• Mentoring junior planners within the team.
