Job summary

Cavendish Nuclear, part of Babcock International Group, seeks a Senior Planner in Glasgow with hybrid working. You will deliver critical defence infrastructure schedules, baselining and maintaining complex plans while coordinating with finance and material teams.

The role requires SC clearance and a proactive, detail-oriented approach. You will develop robust schedules, manage risks, and provide performance metrics to support project decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience in project planning within engineering, nuclear, defence or major infrastructure environments.
• Using Primavera P6 and MS Project to develop and maintain integrated schedules.
• Managing schedules through full project lifecycle from bid to close-out.
• Applying quantitative risk analysis and schedule performance techniques.

Responsibilities

• Develop, baselined and maintain integrated project schedules across multiple levels.
• Ensure alignment between scheduling systems and financial/material demand tools.
• Provide schedule analysis, status updates and critical path reporting for decision-making.
• Produce resource and cost-loaded schedules to support business planning and performance management.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery of defence infrastructure projects.
