Senior Planner - Civil Infrastructure (Hybrid, P6)

Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking an experienced Senior Planner to join our regional civil engineering delivery team. You will own the development, maintenance and critical path analysis of complex schedules, ensuring resource allocation and contractual compliance from pre-construction through to handover.

You will mentor junior planners, collaborate with project managers, commercial teams and external stakeholders, and deliver fully resourced programmes using Primavera P6 under NEC contracts.

Qualifications

• Experience developing, baselining and updating fully resourced programmes in NEC contract environments.
• Strong track record delivering programmes on complex civil engineering/infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of change control, EWNs and CE submissions under NEC contracts.
• Degree or equivalent professional qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead programme development, baselining and updates aligned with NEC contracts.
• Monitor critical path, assess performance, identify delays and prepare change/compensation events.
• Coordinate cross-discipline activities in shared enterprise databases (Primavera P6).
• Track labour, plant and material profiles to ensure progress and viability.
• Review subcontractor programmes, attend progress meetings and report insights to project leadership.
• Mentor and support assistant/trainee planners within the team.
