Senior Planner– Infrastructure

Location – Greater Manchester, Staffordshire or Yorkshire

LA North (flexible location covering projects in Staffordshire, Leeds, Yorkshire, and Greater Manchester)

Role Overview

As Senior Planner, you will develop, update, and manage construction programmes to ensure on-time delivery.

Scope

Assist in construction and ECI phases of projects valued between X and Y million in the Midlands and South regions.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain safe working environments.
• Develop and update construction programmes, reflecting risks and opportunities.
• Review construction sequences considering project constraints.
• Facilitate construction readiness planning.
• Coordinate collaborative planning sessions with clients and supply chain.
• Cost load schedules and generate Earned Value Analysis if required.
• Update schedules and reports monthly.
• Assess the impact of events on the programme.
• Liaise with subcontractors on programme submissions.

Candidate Profile

Looking for experienced professionals with a background in civils projects, highways, or public realm. Proficiency in planning tools like P6, Asta, and MS Project is essential. Ideally, candidates will have progressed from a site engineering background.
