Job summary

VolkerFitzpatrick is seeking a Senior Planner to join the Stansted Airport project, bringing expert planning capability to civil, infrastructure, and building activities. You will ensure compliance with tender and contract requirements and keep the program aligned with the technical scope of works.

You will monitor progress, identify risks early, and provide planning advice across multiple projects to drive excellence and project outcomes. This role is based on-site at Stansted.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification (or equivalent) is required.
• Strong experience in project planning with Primavera P6 or Asta Powerproject.
• Experience delivering planning on NEC/JCT contracts.
• Experience on civil, aviation or highways projects is preferred.

• Providing project planning support to the Project Lead and their teams.

We are looking for a talented Senior Planner experienced in planning for civil works, to join our project at Stansted Airport.

You will be responsible for:

• Providing project planning support to the Project Lead and their teams.
• Ensuring that all clients tender and contractual requirements are understood and complied with in relation to project planning, resource planning and progress planning.
• Ensuring that the project plans for assigned contracts accurately reflect the technical scope of works
• Monitoring progress and identifying risks early, ensuring proactive solutions are in place.
• Providing expert planning adviceacross multiple projects, influencing outcomes and driving excellence.

About you

• Proven project planning experience
• Detailed knowledge of using planning software, Primavera P6 / Asta Powerproject
• Experience with working on NEC/JCT contract types
• Experience of working on Civils, Aviation or highways projects
• Degree qualified (or holds an equivalent qualification)
• Hold a valid UK driving licence
