Job summary

Elevate is seeking an experienced Planned Works Coordinator / Contracts Officer to support the busy Technical Services team in Swindon. The role covers the full contract lifecycle from mobilisation through delivery, review and close-out, ensuring value for money across housing and corporate property services.

You will manage multiple contracts, monitor performance against KPIs, and coordinate activities with technical officers, designers and administrators.

Qualifications

• Experience in contract management and contract administration within public sector or property environment.
• Experience with processing valuations, payment certificates and contract documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple contracts and interpret contractual terms.
• Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience is desirable.
• Strong organisational, analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of contracts and monitor performance against KPIs.
• Coordinate contract activity across officers, designers and administrators.
• Process payment certificates, valuations, variations and contract instructions.
• Support financial control by checking costs and validating claims.
• Maintain clear audit trails and records.
• Support contract renewals or terminations and supplier relationships.
• Embed accountability, transparency and continuous improvement.
