Job summary

Bigblue UK in Birmingham is seeking a Senior Pitch Interior Designer to lead the creative design for workplace pitches and new business opportunities. You will turn briefs into compelling, commercially relevant interior concepts and present directly to clients, shaping the narrative from concept to presentation.

The role demands extensive experience in commercial workplace interiors, a strong portfolio, and ability to influence through storytelling and confident client engagement.

Qualifications

• Substantial commercial workplace interior design experience.
• Strong portfolio of commercial workplace projects.
• Significant experience creating concepts for competitive pitches.
• Excellent conceptual ability, presentation skills and storytelling.
• Confidence presenting directly to clients and building rapport.
• Good understanding of workplace trends, materials and evolving ways of working.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creative design response for workplace pitches and new business opportunities.
• Turn client briefs into strong, original concepts that are commercially relevant.
• Develop concept designs, look and feel, space planning, materials palettes and presentation material.
• Build a narrative around each concept, not just visuals.
• Present and pitch directly to clients and key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with sales, pre-construction and the wider design team on winning proposals.
• Attend client meetings, workshops and pitch presentations.
• Design with creativity and deliverability in mind and raise the creative bar across the portfolio.
