Bigblue in Birmingham is seeking a Senior Pitch Interior Designer to lead the creative response on workplace pitches. You will own the front end of the design process, transform briefs into winning concepts, and present directly to clients with storytelling and confidence.
This is a role for a workplace design professional who thrives on pitches, client interaction and turning ideas into a compelling narrative that wins business. Hybrid working is offered.
£70,000+ basic + Commission - Negotiable for the right person
Highly Flexible Hybrid Working
Our client is looking for an exceptional Senior Pitch Interior Designer to join its Birmingham team.
This is a role for a proper workplace creative, someone who loves the front end of the design process, enjoys getting in front of clients and gets a genuine buzz from turning a brief into a concept that wins the room.
You’ll take the creative lead on pitches for commercial workplace projects, developing compelling design concepts and bringing them to life through engaging presentations, storytelling and confident client pitches.
This isn't a role for someone who wants to sit quietly behind a screen producing drawings. our client is looking for someone who enjoys the energy of a pitch, can read a client, challenge a brief and confidently sell the thinking behind their design.
You will need substantial commercial workplace interior design experience, ideally gained within a workplace Design & Build business or a leading workplace design studio.
More importantly, you need to love pitching.
You'll be comfortable standing in front of clients, talking passionately about your ideas and explaining the thinking behind a concept. You'll understand that brilliant workplace design isn't just about producing something that looks good, it's about creating an idea the client believes in and wants to buy.
You'll ideally bring:
Our client is prepared to be very flexible for the right person.
The starting point is £70,000+ basic salary, but the overall package is negotiable depending on experience and the strength of the individual.
There is also a commission scheme, giving you the opportunity to benefit financially from the work you help win.
The business offers significant hybrid flexibility, so this isn't a five-days-a-week-in-the-studio position. The focus is on finding the right senior creative and giving them the flexibility to perform at their best.
If you're already a strong workplace designer but find yourself enjoying the pitch, concept and client-facing side far more than the technical delivery, this could be a very interesting next move.
It's an opportunity to have real creative influence, work directly with clients, help win projects and be rewarded for the success you contribute to.
