Job summary

Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 6 Physiotherapist for a 12-month fixed-term/secondment role. The post rotates across medicine, oncology, neurology, rehab, surgery, critical care, orthopaedics, outpatients, paediatrics and elderly care.

Part-time 15 hours weekly with flexible hours may be considered. The role offers opportunity to develop clinical expertise in a wide range of acute hospital settings, with CPD support and supervision.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Physiotherapy.
• HCPC registration.
• Evidence of post-graduate CPD activities.
• Evidence of post-graduate training.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced physiotherapeutic assessment and develop an individualised treatment programme.
• Hold responsibility for own caseload and work unsupervised with senior support available.
• Supervise, educate and assess physiotherapy students to graduate standards.
• Undertake evidence-based practice, audits and research to improve practice.
• Assist in training junior staff to a defined competency.
• Contribute to service changes or protocol development as needed.
