Job summary

University Hospitals Dorset in Poole is seeking a proactive and experienced physiotherapist to join our paediatric rotation. This Band 6 post offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills within a highly specialised paediatric therapy service, delivering both in-patient and out-patient care across our Trust sites.

The post requires HCPC registration and postgraduate paediatric training, with 37.5 hours per week and a twilight/weekend/on-call rota to meet service needs.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Physiotherapy
• HCPC Registered
• Postgraduate training in paediatrics

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat children aged 0–19 across Poole, Bournemouth and East Dorset.
• Work within MDTs providing in-patient and out-patient paediatric physiotherapy.
• Provide clinical supervision and education to student therapists.
