Job summary

British Rowing and the UK Sports Institute have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Senior physiotherapist to work with the Paralympic squad at the GB Rowing Team National Training Centre in Caversham, Reading. You will be a key member of a high-performance team delivering world-class MSK support to athletes targeting LA 2028 and Brisbane 2032.

The role is in-person at the NTC with travel to camps and competitions, involving collaboration with coaches, S&C, and sport science staff to

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with high-performance sporting teams, preferably with Paralympic athletes.
• Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary high-performance team.
• Willingness to travel internationally to camps and competitions (approx. 80 days per year).

Responsibilities

• Lead on prehabilitation, performance preparation and MSK health management with the GB Rowing Team.
• Collaborate with coaches and support staff to optimise training and competition readiness.
• Provide in-person delivery at the National Training Centre and travel with the performance group as required.
