Job summary

NHS Trust Leeds is seeking a Senior Physiotherapist to join its outpatient musculoskeletal team in Leeds. You will assess, diagnose, and treat a diverse caseload while mentoring junior staff in a world‑class healthcare environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy, HCPC registration, 3+ years post‑qualification experience, and strong communication and teamwork skills. NHS experience is welcomed and CSP membership is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy and HCPC registration.
• Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience in musculoskeletal/outpatient settings.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Post-graduate training in acupuncture, sports therapy or injection therapy.
• NHS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and formulate evidence-based treatment plans for musculoskeletal patients.
• Deliver high-quality manual therapy, therapeutic exercise programmes and patient education.
• Maintain accurate clinical records in line with standards.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team including doctors and nurses.
• Supervise and support junior physiotherapists and assistants.
• Participate in CPD and clinical audit activities.
