Job summary

NHS Professionals Limited is recruiting an MSK Physiotherapist to join the Outpatient Physiotherapy Department at West Hertfordshire Therapy Unit. You will deliver advanced MSK assessment and treatment for complex cases, lead clinical auditing, and support student education in collaboration with universities.

The role requires senior NHS MSK experience, HCPC registration, CPD with MSK expertise, and involvement in service planning under the Therapy Services General Manager and Team Leads.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Physiotherapy degree and HCPC registration.
• Senior NHS experience in orthopaedic and MSK physiotherapy is required.
• Documented CPD with specialist MSK skills and knowledge is essential.
• Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy or equivalent.
• Experience in post-operative outpatient rehabilitation is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, appraise and support the professional development of junior physiotherapy staff.
• Manage a substantial clinical caseload with high professional standards.
• Supervise and educate physiotherapy students and liaise with universities for clinical teaching.
• Lead evidence-based audits and research projects to improve services.
• Participate in a seven-day working rota if required by the department.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to service planning and evaluation.
