NHS Trust Leeds is seeking a Senior Physiotherapist to join its outpatient musculoskeletal team in Leeds. You will assess, diagnose, and treat a diverse caseload while mentoring junior staff in a world‑class healthcare environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy, HCPC registration, 3+ years post‑qualification experience, and strong communication and teamwork skills. NHS experience is welcomed and CSP membership is preferred.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating a diverse caseload of patients, while also providing mentorship to junior staff. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and formulate evidence‑based treatment plans for patients with musculoskeletal conditions.
• Deliver high‑quality manual therapy, therapeutic exercise programmes and patient education.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in line with professional and trust standards.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including doctors, nurses and other allied health professionals.
• Supervise and support junior physiotherapists and assistants.
• Participate in continuous professional development (CPD) and clinical audit activities.

Qualifications

• A recognised Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy.
• Full registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) - or eligibility to register.
• Minimum of 3 years of post‑qualification experience, with a strong focus in musculoskeletal/outpatient settings.
• Proven ability to manage a complex caseload independently.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Valid IELTS certificate with a score of 7.0+ (or OET equivalent) if you are a non‑UK trained applicant.
• Membership with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
• Post‑graduate training in areas such as acupuncture, sports therapy or injection therapy.
• Experience working within the NHS or a similar public health system.
