Job summary

Hywel Dda University Health Board are seeking an experienced physiotherapist to join the Community Learning Disabilities Team (CLDT) in Carmarthenshire, West Wales. You will lead specialist clinical practice, manage a complex caseload and provide expert assessment and treatment for adults with learning disabilities.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy.
• Professional registration with the HCPC.
• Evidence of postgraduate study or specialist knowledge.
• Evidence of leadership courses/qualifications.
• Experience in learning disabilities physiotherapy and spasticity management.

Responsibilities

• Provide highly specialist assessment, treatment and management for adults with learning disabilities with complex needs.
• Lead on a defined specialist area within Learning Disability Physiotherapy and support staff development.
• Contribute to policy development, service improvement, audit and multidisciplinary planning.
