Job summary

Cardiff and Vale University Health Board in Buckinghamshire is seeking a part-time Band 5 Physiotherapist to support our Learning Disability Health Team on maternity cover. The role involves working with adults with learning disabilities across daytime centres, clinics and homes.

You will join a diverse multidisciplinary team and help deliver physiotherapy assessments and treatments, develop services, and promote health within the community setting.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered physiotherapist with interest in community LD services.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary community teams is helpful.
• Passion for adults with learning disabilities and community settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide physiotherapy assessment and treatment for adults with learning disabilities.
• Manage own caseload and work within a MDT to develop services.
• Deliver individual and group sessions across community pathways (postural management, falls & mobility, respiratory care).
