Job summary

The Manor Hospital in Bedford is seeking a Senior Physiotherapist to lead and develop the physiotherapy team. This full-time role (37.5 hours) requires flexible shift coverage and HCPC registration.

You will assess, treat and manage a complex caseload across inpatient and outpatient settings, delivering individualised plans and supervising junior staff. The post offers competitive benefits within Circle Health Group’s network.

Qualifications

• HCPC-registered Physiotherapist.
• Solid post-registration experience across a range of clinical areas.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients with complex needs in inpatient or outpatient settings.
• Develop individualised treatment plans to optimise recovery and independence.
• Manage a designated caseload prioritising urgency and discharge planning.
• Supervise junior staff, therapy assistants and students informally.
• Maintain accurate clinical records in line with HCPC, CSP and local policy.
• Participate in audits, service evaluations and quality improvement projects.
• Pursue ongoing CPD and reflective practice for professional development.
