Job summary

Circle Health Group in Birmingham is seeking a Senior Physiotherapist on a 6-month fixed term contract. 37.5 hours per week with a flexible shift pattern. You will lead complex case management, supervise junior staff, and contribute to service improvements within the physiotherapy department.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration as physiotherapist.
• Extensive post-registration experience with complex caseload.
• Strong leadership, mentorship, and organisational skills.
• Experience in audit, service development, or quality improvement.
• Excellent communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the assessment, treatment, and management of patients with complex conditions within your specialist area.
• Use advanced clinical reasoning to develop and adjust treatment plans that align with patient goals and evidence-based practice.
• Provide formal supervision, mentoring, and training to Band 5/Level 1 physiotherapists, assistants, and students.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical pathways, protocols, and outcome measures within your area.
• Ensure all care is delivered in line with regulatory, professional, and organisational standards (e.g. HCPC, CSP, CQC).
• Build strong therapeutic relationships with patients and carers to promote engagement, education, and self-management.
