Job summary

Circle Health Group in Enfield is seeking a Senior Physiotherapist to join their inpatient therapy team across Kings Oak and Cavell Hospital on bank shifts. You will independently assess and treat complex cases, develop tailored treatment plans, monitor progress, manage a caseload, and liaise with MDT to ensure safe, timely care.

The role requires HCPC registration, post-registration clinical experience, and commitment to weekend/bank coverage.

Qualifications

• HCPC-registered Physiotherapist.
• Solid post-registration experience across a range of clinical areas.
• Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills.
• Experience supporting or mentoring junior staff or students.
• Familiarity with electronic documentation and outcome measurement tools.
• Involvement in audit or clinical service initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop individualised treatment plans using a variety of physiotherapy techniques to optimise recovery, function and independence.
• Monitor patient progress and adapt interventions accordingly, ensuring high standards of clinical care.
• Manage a designated caseload efficiently, prioritising based on clinical urgency and discharge planning needs.
• Liaise with the multidisciplinary team to support safe, effective and timely patient care.
• Contribute to continuity of care by supporting patient transitions between services.

Senior Physiotherapist (Bank) Kings Oak and Cavell Hospital Bank Shifts

Salary: Up to £25.00 per hour (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

King's Oak & Cavell Hospitals in Enfield are part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.

We have an opportunity for a Senior Physiotherapist to join their team of staff in the Physiotherapy department, particularly within Inpatient Therapy services across our two hospital sites.

In this role, you will support the delivery of high-quality inpatient care as part of our 7-day service, with weekend working on a bank basis being an essential requirement.

This is a bank role working on an “as and when required” basis, you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.

Duties of this role include:
