Join to apply for the Senior Physiotherapist role at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust

We have an exciting opportunity for a Physiotherapist passionate about providing the best possible treatment for Neuro outpatients. The patients have conditions such as multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, functional neurological disorder, and peripheral nerve conditions.

You will work as part of a supportive and dedicated team to develop yourself as a senior Physiotherapist across all four pillars of clinical practice.

The service is based at the William Harvey Hospital and Buckland Hospital, with ambitions to expand to Kent and Canterbury Hospital. The successful applicant will work at a combination of these sites, with some flexibility, which will be discussed at interview.

Role Responsibilities
  • Keeping service users safe through sound clinical skills and effective risk assessments.
  • Ensuring optimal clinical outcomes by applying up-to-date skills and evidence-based policies.
  • Providing a positive experience for service users by respecting, empowering, and partnering with them during care planning.
Core Skills Required
  • Assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of holistic therapy interventions.
  • Good communication skills for multidisciplinary team collaboration and supporting patient rehabilitation goals.
  • Collaborative working with community colleagues for timely information transfer and discharge planning.
