Lendable is hiring a Senior PHP Engineer to help build and integrate APIs, optimise lending platforms, and participate in architectural decisions across a fast-growing fintech engineering team. You will work within a vibrant community of engineers spanning backend, frontend, mobile, and platform disciplines.

The role offers ownership from day one, strong collaboration, and opportunities to shape the future of our products using modern PHP, Symfony/Laravel, and distributed system patterns.

Qualifications

• Strong PHP 8+ development experience with modern PHP practices.
• Solid grasp of Symfony or Laravel framework.
• Experience with Domain Driven Design, Message-Driven Systems, and Event Sourcing.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and financial systems.
• Excellent automated testing skills (unit, integration, functional).
• Genuine desire to learn, collaborate, and contribute in a highly collaborative team.
• High degree of ownership and autonomy.
• Experience in a cross-functional environment is a plus.
