106 Recruitment is looking for a capable Laravel developer to join a small team shaping two established software products used by universities, hospitals, residential developments and other organisations across the UK. You'll own features from idea through release, with real input into technical decisions.
The frontend uses Blade, Livewire and Alpine.js; PHP with Laravel and MySQL form the core stack, along with APIs and automated testing.
Fed up of being handed Jira tickets and told to just get on with them?
Maybe you'd like to have a bit more say in what you're building.
Not just picking up small tasks, but actually taking an idea, deciding how it should work and seeing it through to production.
That's exactly what you'll get here.
You'll join a small development team working on two established software products used by universities, hospitals, residential developments and other organisations across the UK.
The business is growing, there's a product roadmap stretching into 2028, and they need another developer to help shape what comes next.
You will need commercial experience building applications with PHP and Laravel, alongside good knowledge of MySQL, APIs and automated testing.
Ideally, you've already had experience taking ownership of features rather than simply working through tickets.
The frontend uses Blade, Livewire and Alpine.js, so experience with those would be useful, but isn't essential.
You don't need 10 years of experience. If you're a capable Laravel developer who can take an idea and turn it into working software, I'd love to hear from you.
Location: Remote UK, with approximately five office visits per year.
