Job summary

Reggie & Cole is seeking a Senior PHP Developer in Manchester to build and scale an API platform. The role is hybrid with 2 days onsite and 3 days remote, offering £70,000 to £80,000 per year.

You will design and implement RESTful APIs, write robust PHP 8 code, and ensure seamless integrations with partner systems, while optimizing performance and reliability across the platform. Collaboration with senior engineers and code reviews will be routine.

Qualifications

• Senior level commercial experience with PHP 8.
• Experience with Laravel or Symfony.
• Strong API design and integration experience.
• MySQL or PostgreSQL experience.
• Automated testing, Docker and CI/CD exposure.
• AWS or similar cloud experience.

Responsibilities

Our client is a fast growing data business whose platform is used by a wide range of media and digital partners. They’re looking for a Senior PHP Developer to join their Manchester team and help build and scale their API platform.

• Reviewing code and supporting other developers
