Job summary

Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity is seeking a Senior Philanthropy Manager – US Giving to lead the strategy and unlock US philanthropy potential. You will manage a seven-figure personal portfolio, cultivate high-net-worth relationships, and work with our US Board and advisers.

You will line-manage a Philanthropy Executive, developing fundraising initiatives and engaging American foundations and philanthropists to support transformative healthcare and research projects.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of securing six- to seven-figure gifts.
• Experience fundraising within the US market and with US philanthropists.
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience line-managing fundraising staff and teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead GOSH Charity's US Giving strategy and growth in major gifts.
• Manage a high-value portfolio, securing six- and seven-figure gifts and multi-year commitments.
• Develop fundraising programmes for the US market and collaborate with the US Board.
• Build influential networks with American philanthropists, foundations and advisers.
• Line manage a Philanthropy Executive and champion a high-performing team.
