Job summary

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust seeks a Chief Pharmacy Technician - Stores to lead medicines distribution and drive a centralized stores initiative across sites. You will provide operational leadership, workforce development, and oversee automation and pharmacy systems to ensure a safe, efficient supply chain.

You will work with the Principal Technician and Pharmacist to deliver service improvements, manage staff performance, and shape new ways of working for a future-ready medicines

Qualifications

Registered Pharmacy technician with the GPhC.
Experience in change management or quality improvement.
Accredited Checking Technician.
Significant hospital dispensary experience at Band 6 level or higher.
Experience using pharmacy computer systems and automation.

Responsibilities

Deliver a high-quality medicines distribution service across Imperial College Healthcare sites.
Provide daily technical leadership to stores staff.
Support senior pharmacy leadership in service delivery and improvements.
Champion learning and quality improvement in pharmacy.
