We have an opportunity fora Senior Pharmacy Technician / Dispensary Manager tojoin our in-patient Pharmacy team. You will be based at Sunderland RoyalHospital but be able to work across all our in-patient dispensaries across all of South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust sites. The Trust has invested in modern pharmaceutical facilities including fullelectronic prescribing with decision support, automated dispensaries andextensive 7-day clinical services to enhance the patients experience of careby improving the quality, safety and effectiveness of their medicinesutilisation. We are looking for a motivated individual who is team-orientatedand shares our passion for improving patient care. You will need to be anexperienced Pharmacy Technician working at Band 4 or above with a relevantpharmaceutical qualification and registered with the General PharmaceuticalCouncil (GPhC). You will also need to be enthusiastic, self-motivated and wellorganised. As Senior Pharmacy Technician / Dispensary Manager you will managea team of dispensers and work alongside our Clinical Pharmacists, PharmacyTechnicians and Pharmacy Dispensing Assistants to provide integratedpharmaceutical care for service users in the Trust, including service level agreement with ourpartner organisation Choice Ltd., to ensure safe, appropriate and cost-effectiveuse of medicines. As part of the Pharmacy team, you will be required tocontribute to the 7-day rota which includes weekends and late night duty
