Job summary

The Christie Private Care is seeking a Senior Pharmacy Assistant to join our pharmacy team in Manchester. You will support dispensary services, stock control and medicines distribution, working closely with Pharmacy Technicians to ensure high standards of patient care.

Our specialist team treat private patients using a full range of diagnostic, inpatient, surgical, day care and outpatient treatment all on one site. As a key member of the pharmacy team, you will play an important role in delivering safe, efficient and patient-focused pharmacy services. Working under the guidance of senior colleagues, you will ensure a high standard of operational support that consistently meets the needs of patients, clinicians and wider stakeholders. In this varied and hands-on role, you will contribute to core pharmacy operations including dispensary services, stock control and management, medicines distribution, and ward top-up services. You will collaborate closely with Pharmacy Technicians to maintain exceptional professional standards and outstanding patient care. You will also contribute to the delivery of departmental Key Performance Indicators and support the ongoing continuous improvement and development of the pharmacy service.
