Job summary

The Princess Grace Hospital in London is seeking a Specialist Clinical Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team. This full-time, 37.5-hour role covers maternity leave until 28 April 2027 and involves medicines reconciliation, clinical screening, and patient counselling on inpatient wards.

You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to guidelines, audits, and staff training, and act as an ambassador for pharmacy services while ensuring safe, effective, evidence-based prescribing.

Qualifications

• MPharm or equivalent with GPhC registration.
• Minimum 3 months post-registration hospital inpatient experience.
• Experience in training, clinical audit or guideline development is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Medicines reconciliation and clinical screening on wards.
• Patient counselling and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Development of clinical guidelines and participation in audits.
• Staff training and acting as pharmacy department ambassador.

In addition to providing direct patient care, you will support the development of clinical guidelines, participate in audits, and contribute to staff training across the hospital.
