Job summary

Prospect Health is recruiting an experienced Superintendent Pharmacist to lead clinical governance, regulatory compliance and professional standards across a high-volume digital pharmacy operation. Qualifications

• Current GPhC registration is required.
• Previous Superintendent Pharmacist or senior pharmacy leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of GPhC standards and pharmacy governance.
• Experience with Controlled Drugs governance.
• Experience in a high-volume pharmacy environment.
• Regulatory inspection and audit experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical governance and professional standards across the pharmacy.
• Ensure compliance with GPhC, MHRA and relevant regulations.
• Oversee Controlled Drugs governance and record-keeping.
• Lead and develop a large pharmacy team.
• Maintain SOPs, systems and competency frameworks.
• Prepare for and support regulatory inspections and audits.
• Identify opportunities for technology, automation and operational improvements.
• Support the development and expansion of pharmacy services.
