Job summary

The Trust's Pharmacy Department at King's College Hospital seeks an experienced pharmacist to lead specialist clinical pharmacy services for the Care Group. You will deputise for the Principal Pharmacist, contribute to medicines governance, and support policy development across wards and departments to ensure safe, cost-effective care.

As an independent prescriber, you will guide multidisciplinary teams and drive service improvements.

Qualifications

• MPharm degree and General Pharmaceutical Council registration.
• Postgraduate Diploma in Pharmacy Practice or equivalent.
• Eligibility and willingness to act as Independent Prescriber.

Responsibilities

• Deputise for the Principal Pharmacist, Clinical Governance and Medicines Policy.
• Lead in clinical governance and policy relating to medicines within the Trust.
• Provide and develop specialist in-patient clinical pharmacy services.
• Participate in ward rounds and multidisciplinary meetings.
• Supervise and train pharmacy staff across the department.
